About Christine.
Christine is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Singapore; and she dabbles in various traditional, digital and mixed media.
Her works are mainly allegorical painted portraits and sculptures inspired by the “pop-surrealism” genre. She also does paintings of the “mundane” on the side and is currently exploring the more “conceptual” aspect of art.
Christine has a background in computing (Bachelor of Computing, NUS) and has gotten a Diploma in Toy Production at 3Dsense Media School in 2022.
Christine has participated in various international and local group shows including The Portrait Shows by Modern Eden Gallery in the US, had her first solo show “Onion and Moths” at Mr Lim’s Shop of Visual Treasures in 2023, and co-managed & participated in a NAC-backed trio show “Emotional Dumping” at Your Mother Gallery in 2024.
Currently, she is an artist with the Textile Paper Lab (a subsidiary group under Post Museum’s Renew Earth Sweatshop), an artist with Fertile Art Refinery’s (an all female artists group) -ologies Study Group and a member of the Sculpture Society Singapore.
Christine was also featured in Plural Art Magazine, Lian He Zao Bao and Ballpit Magazine
